1. INTRODUCTION

** "You shall be heroes!" **

A new scenario for BoA. Have fun!

This scenario will work only with the latest version of BoA.

** "We are EXPERIENCED adventurers! We defeated the great, um, Fire-Breathing Weasel of Gale!" **

This scenario was designed to be played by a party near the default. For the plot to make the most sense, your characters should conform to the following specifications:

First character: a level 1 male fighter. You, for all intents and purposes. Sincere. The straight man.
Second character: also a level 1 male fighter. A brute. Says little, mostly burps and scratches.
Third character: a level 1 female, probably a mage. Teenaged. Giggles a lot.
Fourth character: level 1, probably a male wizard of some sort. Serious but grumpy.

You are welcome to play with any party you like, but most of dialogue will assume you have this party. Also, I have made no effort to fix potential bugs that would appear only for high-level parties.

** "The silence is deafening. You and your roommate leap to your feet, ready to face any intruders." **

Finally, for full effect, sounds should be ON.

2. CREDITS

** "In this desk, you find the records of the Director of Guest Relations, Corporal Division (or so he signs every one of his papers)." **

*BETA*
Thank you to my beta testers, who were invaluable in getting this scenario in release-worthy shape:
Lazarus
Ephesos
Dikiyoba
Nioca
Excalibur
Dintiradan

** "You enter what must surely be the Perilous Path that Narayan described. You have to admit, it is not exactly what you expected." **

*ART*
Thanks also to the artists whose work I used:
500-502, 505=7: copied directly from Ephesos's "Shades of Gray"; originally by Luz. The one exception is the flowers, stolen from Nik's "Twilight Valley."
503: by Bigblue.
504: by Jayne Holt.

Special thanks to Eph, since obviously I copied most of my custom graphics directly from him without even rearranging them. Moreover, just about anything good about town design in this scenario comes from me opening up either a Jeff Vogel scenario or an Ephesos scenario to see how they painted terrain and then copying what they did.

** "Goblins! Why does it always have to be goblins?" "I'm SCARED of goblins!!" "That's why you're still level 1." **

*SCRIPTS*
Script attributions are in the scripts themselves.

** "As you enter this small opening, you can hear the chitrachs emerging somewhere far away, attacking some other poor fools instead of you for a change. What a relief." **

*OTHER*
Thanks to the whole BoA community. To make this scenario, I used the 3D Editor, AScript, and Graphic Adjuster, all utilities made by the community. The original inspiration for the scenario was the above quote, paraphrased from a post by Student of Trinity. Without all of these things, this scenario could not have been made.
